Enduring Partnership and Advancements in Grinding Technology #

In 2015, at the Taipei International Machine Tool Show (TIMTOS), Ko-Yen made a significant impression by displaying a red banner that read: “Subverting tradition: One-time processing for multiple-side shaping processing, increasing performance by 50%.” This bold statement was backed by the successful sale of the GJ-400 model showcased at the event, generating considerable momentum for the company.
AUTO STRONG, a leader in the power chucks and hydraulic cylinders sector, has maintained a strong partnership with Chuan-Yen (CCM) for over 16 years. The collaboration began in 2005, when CCM responded to AUTO STRONG’s positioning in the global high-end device market by providing specialized grinding processing services. CCM’s production capabilities and commitment to quality quickly distinguished it from competitors, drawing the attention of AUTO STRONG’s President, Chiu-Fa Hsueh. After visiting CCM and discovering its in-house machinery manufacturing, President Hsueh recognized CCM’s technological edge in grinding processes and commended its dedication to innovation and continuous improvement.
This encouragement played a pivotal role in the establishment of COMORK Precise Machinery Co., Ltd. in 2011, with AUTO STRONG as its inaugural client. AUTO STRONG acquired four sets of machinery from Ko-Yen, significantly enhancing its capacity to meet growing market demands.
A standout product from this collaboration is the COMORK GJ-400 CNC Internal Cylindrical Compound Grinding Machine. This model features self-developed interactive software, enabling users to customize the processing interface according to their requirements. The result is a substantial increase in production flexibility, optimized processing procedures, and reduced production costs—all while boosting capacity and fulfilling customer needs.
Ko-Yen’s approach is rooted in over two decades of CNC grinding experience. As both an end-user and manufacturer, the company is dedicated to research and development, adhering to the philosophy that “rolling stones gather no moss.” Achieving zero-tolerance precision in machinery is seen as a gradual, step-by-step process. Ko-Yen believes that each grinding operation presents an opportunity for improvement, and continuous self-improvement is essential for creating greater value for partners and advancing the Taiwanese brand in the global market.
